2013 ChangeTheWorld: Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge campaign: April 21 – May 20, 2013

National Volunteer Week
This special week is an annual celebration of the spirit and energy of volunteers who make a difference in the lives of those they serve. The combined effect of Canada’s 11.5 million volunteers is a force that shapes our nation. We celebrate National Volunteer Week as a way to thank and honour Canada's past and present volunteers. Fall Volunteer Fair
The Volunteer Fair connects local organizations to hundreds of volunteers over the course of the day at Conestoga Mall in a friendly and low-key environment on a Saturday each September. It's a great way to find a new volunteer opportunity that matches the time and talents you have to share, and meet great people!
International Volunteer Managers' Day - November 5
Behind the army of volunteers are an equally dedicated group of individuals and agencies who are responsible for the coordination, support, training, administration, and recruitment of the world's volunteers: skilled professionals who are adept at taking singular passion and turning it into effective action. We celebrate International Volunteer Managers Day on November 5th each year. For more information, click here.

This date is officially recognized by the United Nations as a day on which volunteers around the world are recognized and celebrated for their contributions and dedication.
