Position: "Relief Kit" Drive - Coordinator - Material Resources

Impact Statement: Help MCC respond to crisis around the world! Because of multiple situations of crisis around the wold our warehouse inventory for hygiene and relief kits is seriously low. We are in need of help to replenish our inventory so that we can continue to respond to needs around the world. You or your group can help relieve suffering by collecting items or donations for our relief kits which provide people in crisis with hope and dignity.

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, shares God's love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice.
Description: Promote and organize and drive for relief kit supplies: two areas in serious need of restocking.

Hygiene Kits
Contents (NEW items, in original packaging)
• 1 adult-size toothbrush
• 1 large bar bath soap
• 1 fingernail clipper (good quality)
• 1 hand towel (dark colour, approximately 38 cm x 64 cm/ 15 in x 25 in)

Relief Kits :
Contents (NEW items only, in original packaging)
• 4 large bars bath soap
• 1 plastic bottle shampoo (380–710 ml; place in re-sealable plastic bag)
• 4 large bars laundry soap (Sunlight ® brand preferred)
• 4 adult-size toothbrushes
• 4 new bath towels (medium weight, dark or bright colors)
• 2 wide-tooth combs (15 cm–20 cm)
• 1 fingernail clipper (good quality)
• 1 box adhesive bandages (minimum 40 count, assorted)
• 1 package sanitary pads (18–24 count thin maxi)
